Prabowo - Sandiaga Team Denies KPU Elections Result

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The national campaign team of presidential pair number 02 Prabowo Subianto - Sandiaga Uno rejected the election result announced by the Election Commission (KPU), said the team witness Aziz Subekti.
“This rejection is a moral monument that we will not give up to fight against frauds, lies, despotism, injustice, and at the same time, we also combat any action that will harm the democracy,” said Aziz in the KPU trial court, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, May 21.
On early Wednesday, May 21, the commission declared the incumbent candidate Joko Widodo or Jokowi - Ma’ruf Amin led the 2019 presidential election with 50.50 percent of national votes.

Based on the recapitulation result, Jokowi - Ma’ruf gained 85,607,362 votes or 55.50 percent, while Prabowo - Sandiaga obtained 68,650,239 national votes or 44.50 percent. The total votes amounted to 154,257,601.
Additionally, several witnesses from political parties also denied the result of the legislative election, viz. National Mandate Party (PAN), Berkarya Party, Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), and Gerindra Party.
A witness from PAN Fikri Yasin said his party rejected to sign the legislative election for Papua province as several electoral districts still have issues.
